I am doing a new photoshop satire and want to take a close up of pins in the alley. That's all.

And maybe a pool table later on.

4. Just go when they're not busy...
I shot in a bowling alley a while ago. I asked if I could, and the guy said to come back the next day around 2:00 when they wouldn't be busy. Worked out well... just at least offer to pay for a lane, or tip the counter person a few bucks.

5. Why not call the bowling alley first, and explain to the manager
what you want to do? That way, you won't waste a trip if they're not amenable to the idea. :hi:

6. We used to have this really cool bowling alley in Chicago.
It was huge - 80 lanes - and most of the decor was original from 1955. Unfortunately, I think that was due to not wanting to spend the money (or not having it) to fix it it up rather than nostalgia, as some aspects of it were in really bad shape, and it was eventually torn down like two years ago.
