Saw the LOST action figures at Toys R Us today...
The likenesses are really good, and they come with cool stuff. Jack comes with a full-size mugshot of Kate, Charlie comes with a full-size Driveshaft ring, Locke comes with his Walkabout brochure, Hurley comes with his winning lottery ticket, Shannon comes with Rousseau's island map, and Kate comes with a full-size replica of the toy airplane from the lockbox. I'm just bummed because they made a Shannon figure and not a Sawyer or Sayid figure instead. (Hell, she's dead, so what do we care???) The problem with them is that they're $15 each, which means if you buy the whole set, it's $90 plus tax. :yoiks:

My husband is a big action figure collector but hates LOST, and fortunately I love LOST but am not an action figure collector. Case closed. :P

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

And no French chick, Rosseau? Or Desmond? Or the Others? And the Season Two-ers?

5. Tell me about it...
 My husband knows the action figure market very well, and he says that figures are usually planned about two years out and based on whatever the series producers tell them. We know how secretive the LOST producers are. All of the ones just released are from the pilot, which means Sawyer didn't have any real emphasis yet. Jack is in his suit, and Kate is dirty and covered in sand except for her face. We'll probably have to wait a few more months for a Sawyer.

17. Does he suck ?
as host. I mean, top notch dramatic actor, seems like a great guy, but he couldn't even manage showing an entertaining sense of humor in a Daily Show interview.

12. Do you have to pay extra for Hurley?
Due to the extra materials needed. As an aside: The Hurley character needs to lose some weight for a little credibility. But then considering what goes on there on the island, credibility was lost with the plane.

For Jorge Garcia fans, you can see him in as a different sort of character in "Little Athens". He was partnered with his back story partner (Season 2) DJ Qualls. We they trying for a Laurel & Hardy pairing?
