Help me with my hair predicament, PLEASE!
Do you think this girl:

would look good with this haircut?

I'm tired of having to deal with my hair. Please give me your opinion. And if you don't think it would work, please give me a suggestion. Thanks.

1. YRD, your haircut should frame your face and flatter you.

I don't see a haircut that short flattering you. (Trust me---when I was a lot younger, I had short hair for a very short time, and it didn't flatter me at all.) Something chin-length or just below chin-length would be great on you. Some layering would be nice too. :) You can show that pic to your stylist and ask for a modified version of it to make it longer, and I think it might work. :D

2. I agree with NewWaveChick.
I think the really short 'do would not be flattering, but a longer version -- with layering -- would be very flattering. You might do some more searching on the web, find some different hairstyles that you like, print them out, and take them with you to your stylist.

And, after you get it cut, you GOTTA show us a picture!

3. No. No. No.
Hell, it doesn't even look good on her, and she has a heart-shaped face — but way too much forehead for that cut.

The best look I've seen for you was in your engagement (wedding?) portrait. That was good hair for you, although you could've used a tad more height on top.

4. No way
It will make the lower half of your face look really plump.

This is sheer honesty.

5. That's what I asked for.
And I appreciate it. I'm looking for something else. Thanks. I just really want something simple and low maintenance.

6. No, but this is what I would recommend...
NewWaveChick's rec of short with layers is a nice idea... just make sure the the layers don't blend. Get a nice gel, a round brush, and cut the length to your chin - shoulder length may even look nice. Not only will it be easy to care for and style, but I think you'll feel like a million bucks!

Your hair color seems nice... is that your natural hair color? It matches your eye brows. Highlights are always a nice addition when you get layers, if you want to spring for it. ;)

Good luck!

7. It's natural...
But I colored it recently, and it's dark auburn.
