I am a total newbie to WiFi, but I've got a draft "N" card anyway. If you're using N, is it really that much better than G?

1. No. Not unless you're talking about moving data between two computers
hooked up to the same wireless network. Since your internet connection is only a fraction of your wireless bandwidth there really isn't much of a difference between the wireless standards. The supposed range advantages seem to be mostly bunk too.
