Which is the better Blink 182 splinter band: 'Angels and Airwaves' or '+44'

Tom Delonge (the founder of Angels and Airwaves) was a relatively huge supporter of the anti-Bush and then pro-Kerry movement among mainstream musicians of his generation.

But I still lead toward +44 as the truer, more riteous rockers. AvA can be really catchy the first time you hear one of their songs, but it doesn't sit as well with me over time.
