1. Punishment?

take some ibuprofen

or put some ice on your neck

3. I've been drinking warm tea...
...and put something warm around my neck (a sweatshirt from the dryer). Obviously, the wrong strategy.

I hate to take ibuprofen...but if it gets any worse, I will. Thanks.

7. I Know That When A Headache Gets Bad For Me
an ice pack to the neck seems to help

or a corn or rice neck pack that you heat in the microwave feels good too.

Once I put one of those corn packs in my MIL's freezer to get it cold and I forgot I left it there, and somehow it slipped into her icemaker. I came in and put a cup to her ice/water thing on her door and corn comes out of the icemaker

I just stood there because I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was happening!

Hope it gets better I think there is a cold front coming again so if your sinuses bother you they may be reacting to the pressure changes.

10. I'm off...
..to bed. The headache won. And, I *never* take naps. They usually make me feel worse. But, I don't think I could feel much worse right now (headache-wise).

2. Have you eaten?
Do you usually drink caffeine? Have you had any?
Loud music?
Being too hard on yourself?

Any of the above can cause a H/A to worsen....

5. I am a caffeine addict, I'm afraid..
..and I had my Kona coffee this morning already. Didn't help.

Finally turned off the music...yeah, not a good idea.

Hard on myself...yeah. I didn't think that could worsen a headache, though...interesting thought.

Thanks.

13. Well the liqui-gels dissolve quickly anyway. Before the liquid ones, you pretty much
had to chew advils to get them to work quickly. They taste horrible, but if you wash them down with something sweet, the taste goes away quickly.

In southern states they sell "Easin' Powder" at every gas station and convenience store. They look just like packets of sugar. They contain sugar, caffeine, aspirin and acetaminophen, ground together to a fine powder. You just dump it in your mouth and wash it down with some liquid. Minutes later your headache is gone. But I think Advil/ibuprofen is more effective.

14. Huh, I Live In A Southern State
I've never paid attention to what they sell for headaches, other than BC powder.

but caffeine, ibuprofen, and tylenol work well for me when I have a headache.

Ibuprofen tears my stomach up if I take it for any length of time
