I just got home from work. I am due back in nine hours.
That's not time enough to sleep enough to be sorta human, shower, eat, dress and drive back over. I am tempted to call in sick or perhaps dead. I won't, but I want to.

I used to work 12 hour shifts & it's NOT fun.

4. oh that happens to me all the time
I work 12 hour shifts that constantly stretch into 13, 14, 15, 16 hours - all the time - so suck it up already :)

5. Yep. Can't count the number of times I've worked 36 hours straight




...with an hour off to drive home, shower, change, eat and haul ass back. All the while thinking, "WTF, I thought all-nighters were supposed to end in grad school!"


Fortunately I was salaried, so it wasn't like my employer was taking advantage of me or anything. :sarcasm:

7. If it helps... I finished my reports last night/this morning at 1 AM and
was back up at 4:30 to proof, pdf and send them out. I'm lucky that I work from home but when I have a rush, work is all I do. My Sunday was a bust. :hug:

8. three days a week...i work till 10 pm and am due back by 8 the next day
so i actually get about 7 hours at home..it sucks.

all my sympathies
