Man, Angry He Was Caught For Shoplifting, Retaliates With Fire Bomb

Orlando, Fla. -- Orlando Police spent Saturday night looking for the man they say threw a fire bomb into a downtown business.

Officers said the man the the bomb, made from a beer bottle, into Advanced Discount Auto Parts Store on Church Street near the 408 and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Clerks at the store said the man was mad because they had caught him shoplifting minutes earlier.

"Had there been shoppers inside the store and the device exploded, we could have had some severe injuries here," said Lieutenant Laura Houston with the Orlando Police Department.

Orlando Police are hoping to catch the suspect before he strikes again.
