Anybody Else Tired Of Being Screwn By Guilt?
I say Screw Guilt!

I'm done with it, not the kind of guilt that you have when you actually do something wrong, but the kind that people lay on you to control you!

Anyone with me on this?

Let's say "screw guilt" together!

2. Heh, while I feel guilty for admiting, I will use that as a manipulative tactic
It works especially well if both of you know that you've done nothing wrong. It does however, help pave the way for that person to apologize (especially if they were the ones doing something wrong). But hey, it was how I ended up being friends again with my ex and her friend (who's now one of my best friends :) )

7. Yes, That One
I've even felt guilty when something would come up missing and I had nothing to do with it, but that guilt tape would start playing.

That's just WRONG

Screw Guilt!

3. Hear hear!

Remember the adage,

" when you point, three fingers are pointing back at you"?

Remind the accuser of it!

i.e.( that tells him/her)" Neener, neener, I'm not the butthead in this picture!"

;-)

I'm not having any of it if I've done nothing to deserve it.

I want the pleasure of actually doing the damn thing before I feel guilty about it.

17. being old fashioned
I do not believe in screwing outside of marriage
so I will only be able to screw guilt if I get married to it first.
I'm not sure that kind of marriage is legal in Kansas.

Now I'm feeling guilty for that last line, that somebody will take it wrong.

I suspect that somebody vandalized my bike tonight. Suddenly my gear shifter is broken, cable stretched or something. If that was done by somebody, I hope guilt eats into them like the strongest concentration of hydrochloric acid. Between the extremes of feeling guilty when you have done nothing wrong and not feeling guilty when you have done something wrong, I prefer to err on the side of feeling too much guilt rather than not enough.

19. There is only one kind of guilt: true guilt. Guilt people lay is false and...
I laugh in their faces because I know that I have not transgressed. As my father said "It's good to be right."
