6. Nothing, but I'm about to turn the noon news on the television.
I should be listening to Christmas music, because my son and I have been making sugar cookies. As soon as they've completely cooled, it'll be time to decorate! Maybe I'll put a Christmas CD on then.

37. Gov't Mule ~ Tear Me Down....
You sit there staring
With your little girl smile
You got it all figured out
So many others
You thought they were like me
You don't know

In this world of fear and desperation
You seem to have it all in your hands
So used to holding things - holding things
But no one ever made you understand

So come on and tear me down
Tear me down
Take anything you need - anything
Tear me down
Tear me down
I know what you want
So come on and tear me down

So many people headed the wrong way
Me, I've been - and I'm going again
Windsurfing on a fast train
Chances are none and slim

You think you're the only one
In the whole world
That ever danced upon the razor's edge
I don't need to pour more fuel on the fire
But if that's what you want come on

So come on and tear me down
Tear me down
Take anything you need - anything
Tear me down
Tear me down
I know what you want
So come on and tear me down

So come on and tear me down
Tear me down
Take anything you need - anything
Tear me down
Tear me down
I know what you want
So come on and tear me down

Tear me down
Tear me down

38. "Sons & Daughters" by the Decemberists.
Most of the stuff I listen to is either classic rock from the 60's, or jazz from before that, and a little 80's rock: The Clash, Midnight Oil, but that's just about it from the 80's. So I thought I might as well start looking for some good newer bands, and I like these guys. They're cool. :)

Absolutely the perfect recording to listen to after Christmas dinner, when Christmas is all over with and you're just relaxing by the fireplace, with a cat curled up next to you, and the orange light from the fire reflects through a glass of sparkling apple cider...

Edited on Tue Dec-05-06 06:50 PM by Radio_Lady
The movie is bloody and boring. The cinematography was swell. The casting was accurate. I guess the dialogue coach was OK (???) -- after all, the native speakers did their job. The script was VERY thin. And I'm checking on much of its accuracy in a real timeline.

I'll fully review it on Thursday.
