I just met Oliver Stone.

I work at Warner Bros. and I was running upstairs to take care of some paycheck issues. I see a man standing at the door dialing a cell phone. You cannot enter any floor in our building without an ID card. I asked him if he needed to get in and he said he did. He told me who he had an appointment with so I said I would take him to where this person was.

As we were walking, I mentioned that I had just been reading an article in "Premiere" magazine about "Platoon." We chatted about Platoon for awhile and he was very polite; he thanked me for my praise of Platoon.

Kind of made my day.
