Why can't someone manufacture corduroys that STAY tight?!

Another fashion crisis.


I have a couple pairs of stretch boot-cut cord pants that fit exactly how I want them to right of the dryer, but after I wear them for about eight seconds, they bag out, and won't spring back. I end looking like I have pants on that are way too big; that is how much they stretch out. I have yet to find a single brand that carries my size, and doesn't stretch out in two seconds.

Any of you gals find cords that are cut slim in the thigh, are straight leg, flared ot bootcut, come in different lengths and don't stretch out?

From Old Navy that seem to hold up pretty good, though they do get a bit looser as the day goes on. In fact I'm wearing my green ones today.

12. Another problem with corduroys,

at least if you are one of those people, who, like me, never have a problem with pants being loose, is that when you walk they go "zhoop, zhoop, zhoop." You skinny people whose corduroys are too loose probably have never experienced that phenomenon, but I don't even wear corduroys any more for fear that they will catch fire if I walk too far in them (going "zhoop, zhoop, zhoop" the whole time).
