10. My sister's business (the one in surgery today)
So, yeah, I'm pretty sure the site sells food.

In fact, I've helped them bag up the nuts.

5. I'm normally no nut snob.
But I agree with you. Cashews are to peanuts what peacocks are to pigeons.

My husband gave me grief the other day for picking cashews out of the mixed nuts. And here I thought he wouldn't notice! :silly:

8. The poison ivy of nuts.
For most people, they only enhance a poison ivy rash, but for me, they can initiate one, too.

Too bad, I love them.

11. That's a shame.
And you can't really walk into a house this time of year and not see a bowl of them on the table or counter.

15. Hm
I don't walk into too many houses, but I've never really noticed them on a table or counter in any house I've walked into. Wonder if that's regional? We southerners don't have a lot of the traditional Christmas stuff happen to us. No white Christmases, no snowmen, not a lot of fireplaces. I've gone swimming on Christmas a few times, though.

18. Regional, maybe.
I'm in Colorado. Maybe it's just my family, mostly. There's always a bowl of nuts within arm's reach at my folks' house or my sister's.

Swimming on Christmas. Now that sounds like an activity I could get behind.

They have a 2.5 lb. jar for around $9.00

My family goes through one in four days.

23. Me too. Anything in the nut family.
They have a special memory-erasing property that prevents you from remembering how many of them you've eaten.

22. Pass the bowl? They're so good.
Walnuts and pecans are out. I'm very allergic to them both. In case cashews have snuck onto the list, here's my epi-pen. :)

choice for a snack. I only have 6 but that is enough. They are filling and oh so good!
