I don't know what the windchill is, but the kids have a two-hour late start, due to "bussing problems." (We're near Duluth.)

11. I bet it'll be _lots_ warmer than Minnesota, but maybe snowy.
Call Me Wesley's mom drove back to Ticino from Zurich last night via the St. Gotthard tunnel, with sleet and snow on both ends (of the tunnel, that is). She had a big panic attack in the tunnel because the Volvo windows fogged up and she didn't know how to turn on her defroster. I love my mother-in-law, but . . oy. :scared:

13. Right now it's about 25. Today's high is expected to be 43.
I grew up in Minnesota, and except for 2.5 winters in Wisconsin, I spent all of my winters in Minnesota until I moved to the Boise area at age 34 (I'm 40 now). I think I've been re-acclimated now, and I'm not sure I could stand another Minnesota winter!

15. I often wonder if I can stand another one!
Not that I really have a choice, of course. It was so cold when I went to drop the kids off that my lungs hurt and I kept coughing- it reminded me of how I felt upon waking up after a two-or-three packs of cigarettes day. Ugh. You don't miss Minnesota *quite* so bad this time of year, I imagine!

There are pretty enough colors around here in the fall, but nothing like Minnesota!
