Driver Hits Deer, Ties It To Roof Of Car, Collides With Police Officer

GLEN ST. MARY, Fla. -- Police said a driver hit a deer, tied it to his hood, then collided with a Baker County police cruiser.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Edward Force apparently hit a deer and tied it to the roof of his car Wednesday morning in Glen St. Mary. He then collided with an officer's cruiser.

Investigators were still looking into what caused that crash, but reports said the headlights on his car may have been broken.

Force suffered a serious injury. His condition was not released. Officer Charles Deloach had minor injuries.
