What's your story?
When I was 10 or 11 my scout troop was doing some clean up around Wright-Patterson AFB in preparation for the annual air show (we were given free tickets to the show for our help).
As I was policing an area, a mechanic working on one of the planes asked me if I could do him a favor, would I go over to the hanger across the runway and get him some prop wash?
Off I ran. I asked a guy in the hanger for the prop wash and was told that it was now kept in another hanger, and I should go there and ask.
From hanger to hanger I went always being told that I was in the wrong one.
A pilot who was checking out his plane overheard me asking where the prop wash was took mercy on me and let me in on the joke.
When I got back the guy who had sent me on the prop wash quest he was surrounded by most of my troop mates laughing their asses off.
