1. I don't re-gift, but I do give things away if I don't like them.
My mother is notorious for choosing horrible gifts. Like last year--all I asked for was a $10 iTunes gift card, and instead she bought me a $40 laminator and a jewelry box.

Why on earth would I want a laminator? I don't laminate. I have no *need* to laminate.

I also don't wear jewelry. Not even a simple ring.

This year, I'm getting her a gift certificate for a penis piercing. Maybe she'll take it as a not-so-subtle hint.

4. I don't receive any gifts, myself.
Just the one from the husband, which is usually a thoughtful gift. No others.

6. Most of it
I'm very misunderstood and that apparently extends to what gifts I would like.

9. i don't receive gifts
my choice. if for some reason i did receive a gift and i didn't quite care for it, i'd give it to a thrift store not re-gift it.
