I can't believe I never got into Ween until now...

I had heard a little of their stuff here and there and thought they were "cute", kind of a one-off gimmicky band like Dred Zeppelin or the weirder Zappa stuff.

Then I heard "White Pepper" and "Quebec" in their entirey...and damn if those songs didn't burrow their way into my ears, past the aural canals and straight into my medulla. Fuck, their stuff is bloody brilliant.

And now, I'm "listening" to "The Pod" for the first time. I heard it, skipped around, and thought it was their worst...but now its all clear. This album really is pure genius.
