even though I've paid every cent of both bills for the life of both accounts. (I'd even forgotten they were in his name. Everything is usually in mine.)

And, he either didn't want to or he didn't think of letting me know. I know the first sounds more likely but the latter probably is.

So, I'm sitting here cluelessly working yesterday and poof! No dsl. Then, no dial tone. Then, I look at the lights and scramble for my cell.

Geeze. Every time I settle down, whoops! There goes another rubber tree plant.

We're okay, merh. The rest of the family is mostly okay, the animals are okay. On my walk this morning, the SFPD on Bikes -- all of them-- whirred past me to block off Golden Gate Park for a funeral.

At least we were walking on the other side of the road. After seeing that, I could sit here with no dial tone and no lights and not complain.
