2. I've always preferred this one...
It's called a Dymaxion map. Most maps are drawn from an equatorial perspective wit the intention to divide the world up. Buckminster Fuller designed the Dymaxion to demonstrate the continuity of the Earth's landmasses.

5. I get freaked out when I see a map of the world from someone else's perspective
I am so used to maps of the world with the Greenwich Meridian running down the middle. But of course people tend to draw the map with their own countries in the middle. It looks so wierd when you're used to it another way.

6. What freaks me out
is when I see a photo from a spacecraft in orbit and it looks like the Earth is above the spacecraft. That's just literally awesome to me.

7. That bothers me about Star Trek
Well, lots of things bother me about Star Trek. But this particular thing is: when two ships encounter each other in space, why are they always oriented the same way?
