I am so glad we have heat again!!!
Because the temp is forecast to be 19 tonight. It was so windy and cold when I got home from my gig early this morning that could feel the air cutting right through my heavy jacket. Brrrr!

I'm washing an old blanket tonight, and putting it in the back of my car, in case I see some homeless person...I'm really worried that we'll lose some people tonight...

3. I've started doing that ever since
I saw a group of homeless men downtown after a gig. I didn't have any money for them; but I suddenly remembered an old raggedy blanket that I kept in the back seat in case one of the kids needed something to snuggle in.

I was kind of embarrassed to give it to them, because it wasn't washed or anything; but this one guy didn't have anything to cover himself up with. He was so happy...

4. Our indoor temps went down to about 55 at the lowest...
when we were without heat. I can't imagine being without a home in below freezing temps.

5. What a great idea!
I live in the Phoenix area but it still gets cold here at night! I bought new blankets this year and tossed the old blankets in the back of the closet. Now I know what I can do with them. Thanks for the suggestion! :hi:
