My 80-something Grandparents used to go to the Bronco's games
Back in the 60's. They sat in the south stands and when a field goal was kicked, the ball ended up in the crowd and there would be bloody brawls over it.There were no nets. If it was a good game the crowd used to rush the football field and pulldown the goalposts. My Grandparents said they even brought the poles on the bus for the trip home.Crazy times, I am sure it was all fueled by booze.
