Just sayin' : Aren't films about frustrated suburbanites getting a tad stale?

American Beauty, Little Children, etc.....

Like boo hoo hoo, aren't their lives just so tragic? I like in a million dollar home, don't have to worry if they are to pay either the cable or phone bill this month, don't have to worry about anything, and oh, I'm going to have affair because I am so unhappy (re: spoiled, lazy and ungrateful) etc.......

who cares? :D
