26. Nope
When not sleeping on the loveseat with my dog, or with my youngest, I'm at the very edge of the bed laying on my side facing outward towards the end table. King sized bed, I use about 1ft of it. :eyes:

8. MY husband is a cover hog.
I always wake up barely covered. We have a queen sized bed, but a king sized down alternative comforter.
But this morning, I woke up with plenty of covers, so I must have gotten hoggish in the middle of the night. I slept GREAT. I told him when he got up a few minutes ago that now I see why he sleeps so well every night. He has all the good covers. My entire side was covered and then some, and I woke up only once in the middle of the night. It was wonderful. I'm thinking about going back in and recapturing some magical sleep.

15. My dear GoPsUx!
I do hog the covers.......BUT......

My husband untucks the covers on his side of the bed...

And this makes it easy for me to pull them away from him.....poor baby!

I don't do it on purpose, either.......

And he isn't shy about pulling them back away from me so he can have his share!

I still sleep well!

34. Before I met moved in with my gf, I only had one comforter, all to myself.
As soon as she moved in she started to insist that "The bed had to be made". So she covered it in sheets and blankets. And guess what? I got NONE of them....she would hog them, and I would get nothing. So then I started grabbing the ol' comforter, and when she inevitably stole the covers, i would just grab my comforter off the floor, and have it all for my own.

Now, we basically each have our own sections of the bed...she sleeps under sheets, and blankets, and I sleep on top of sheets with just my comforter. It works out great.

I love living with my gf, and we get along great, but in bed, I am not comfortable being "hung on too" when I sleep, so this arrangement works well for me. Plus, I don't get hot from all the damn blankets she uses.

35. Obviously I sleep alone, but even alone I yank all the covers to one side.
I wake up cold--from myself!

Plus I am a big mass on the whole bed. I'd make a terrible bedfellow. :P

36. i'm a horrible bed and covers hog
Edited on Sat Dec-09-06 04:11 PM by kagehime
i have a full-sized mattress that i've for eight years, i sleep diagonally across it with a few kitties keeping me company. it was a tough transition when my ex and i started sharing a bed because it was so small and he's a tall guy. every night he'd wake me up and tell me to scoot over because i was spread-eagled across the bed or i've taken all the blankets. he had a king size but we never slept in it because it hurt my back very badly to do so and he didn't want to sleep alone, so we just dealt with it.

that said, it's not a problem anymore as it's just me and the kitties again.

but apparently i've always been like this. when i was a toddler/little kid i'd sleep with my parents in their california king and lay horizontally across the bed and push both my parents to the edges.

edit for some clarity
