How do you hang a mirror?

I am hanging a mirror today. It is kinda heavy. There are 2 anchors in the back. Do I have to screw a hanger into a stud or will a drywall thingy hold up the mirror?

1. How heavy is heavy?

Large toggles in sound drywall will support a lot of weight, but anchoring to solid material is always preferred.

2. 25 lbs or so

but if you can catch wood with at least one fastener, you're ahead of the game.
