Anyone ever try True online dating?
I see this advertised on myspace all the time. Dating sucks in my town and I've come to accept that I'm incompetent at picking up women in bars. I'm suspicious of their ads because they feature models hotter than the average woman. Anyone have any good or bad luck with them?

5. I would recommend eHarmony instead.
That aside, most dating/'relationship' websites will put up the most mannequin-esque people. Advertisement's fundamental principle is to put up the most alluring commodities.

6. There was one that didn't.
I think it was match.com. I tried that a while back when I moved to a new city and didn't know anyone. I tried it because the women didn't look like prostitutes. The ads were believable. I thought it was smart on their part. I'm not under the delusion that super models need to use online dating.

12. Yup...
...I remember a thread a few months back where certain DU-ers said they took the Eharmony personality profile, and the site rejected them--probably for being too progressive. So I took it myself, and (how insulting) I WAS ACCEPTED!!! But then they wanted an outrageous amount of money to start checking out potential dates, which is when I said arrivederci.
