OK, so we're at Target this afternoon. It's in the 12 O'Clock hour. We were headed to the checkout, when we hear this sound, followed by a little girl crying. She had just thrown up...Her mom, of course, just walks away from it. And rather than grabbing this little kid who is maybe 5 or 6 and running to the bathroom, which is not that far away. She MEANDERS to the checkout line to leave like she doesn't give a shit and the little girl is just doing it to annoy her, and the little girl throws up twice more. All over the floor. Her answer to this is to hand her an antibacterial hand wipe to blow her nose with. The little girl is hysterical by now. We walked by the puddles the mother (Who looked like a celebrity with perfect makeup and clothes that screamed look at me. The kid looked normal and unhappy) has just left, rather than letting someone know they're there, and they're clear and white. I've never seen a little kid puke clear and white. It was afternoon, this kid should have had something on her stomach by then. And at the very least it should have been orange or yellow, but it was clear, like all she'd had was water that day. We got to talking, and Skip suggested that maybe the mother was one of those weight obsessed mothers who passed her love of not eating onto her little girl. Well, this just made me want to punch her in the face. I was really disturbed by this. The little girl was just so upset, I wanted to grab her, hold her and take her home to take care of her. FEED her, well, you know when she stopped puking her guts up. Parents, what would you have done in this situation? Duckie
