He has a supersonic high frequency whistle that comes out of his nose to warn all flying creatures to stay out of his way. It is quite amazing really.

8. Because he flies at the precise speed and with his hands in the correct position
to produce a super-cavitation effect which directs insects around his body ... Duh! :)

He has an energy field around his whole body, which he can influence, and keep dirt, and grime from getting on his uniform...he has this energy field of sorts, in most comic adaptations from 1985 to present...

on edit:this energy field of sorts, also helps in this ability to fly.

13. Another question would be how come Superman's face
doesn't get all squished and pulled back when he flies? I mean how fast is he going? He does go faster than a speeding bullet and all.

14. Because he has a high density
threshold, hence where he gets his invulnerability from, meaning flying fast won't force his face to do anything, unless he chooses to smile, or whatever.....plus, he flies faster than the speed of light...:D

17. Not sure about them, I'm not an Xmen expert...:)
I would say Storm doesn't because when she flies, she summons a storm basically, high winds, usually with lightning...and I think that combined makes the bugs go away, plus Storm can't fly that well(I believe)...Rogue on the other hand...I think she has minor telepath abilities, and she probably just tells the bugs to scram...:D

Plus now that I think about logically, she pretty much is a human bug zapper.

15. The funniest thing about George Reeves as Superman:
He would puff out his chest when the bad guys were firing bullets at him, and the bullets bounced off. However, when the bad guy was out of bullets, he'd throw the pistol, and Superman would DUCK out of the way.

Because a tossed pistol would hurt WAY more than bullets fired at you, of course.

why he doesn't eat, poop, pee or have sex is a mystery.
