3. Funny story from last week

the broadcasters were relating LT's explanation for how he became so ellusive, attributing it to, as they put it, "a game he used to play where the ball is thrown into the air and everyone tries to tackle whoever catches it", which just about every guy who grew up in America since who knows when knows is called "Smear the Queer". Don't blame them for skirting it, but it was pretty amusing IMO.

4. He is THE BEST

Early in the season, I posted about how the San Diego Chargers are FOR REAL, and of course, proceeded to be poo-pooed by those not knowing The Way of the Bolt. :D

I am a lifelong hardcore Chargers fan, and these are great days! They clinched the AFC West last night by thumping Denver. 11-2 record! Their two losses were by a FG each game. :toast:

Tomlinson, who has thrown for two TDs that don't count toward his record, also tied John Riggins' 1983 record of seven straight multi-touchdown games. He finished with 103 yards on 28 carries, his seventh straight 100-yard game.

Tomlinson has scored 174 points this season, three shy of breaking Paul Hornung's single-season record of 176 set in 1960. ... He's the first back in San Diego history to have eight 100-yard rushing games.
