1. yes - what else did she play -
I am a sally field fan so started watching because of her - they have very interesting characters and the story lines are all really engaging without having the sleeping around stuff of grey's anatomy - this thing has some meat to it - I like the show

2. She was on 30 Something
and her husband is Ken Olin, the main husband of 30 Something. He is also the producer of Brothers and Sisters.

I like the show, but I really cant stand Holly. And I'd kick my brothers ASS if he was trying to hook up with my dead husbands mistress.

3. yes they have definitely made the characters strong
gay
rw
business failing
iraq
religion -
little girl with diabetes and does god love one religion people more than others
the tv talk show
working for senator
being called up when you have PTSD already and the backdoor draft
and the mistress with a daughter who is their sister
and of course they don't want anyone to know so they will find out
and the mistress wanting to be part of the family business
and leaving the mistress 10 million dollars WOW
Sally fields character played that well tonight with the food offering and accepting the mistress meant a lot more to her husband than she had wanted to admit
the mistress plays the hated character well and it is easy to not like her
and yes the brother /uncle sleeping with their fathers mistress and the sister's mother - a little incestual in a sense

and Sally field plays a good left liberal who has compassion and understanding and hates the war and how religion is the major reason for so many wars

good character development - I hope this show last
but they are already doing to this what they did to commander and chief
they have it on then don't and then throw in repeats and just don't allow you to get stable with it - they killed commander and chief because it was too liberal and I loved it - it was personal :):)

normally I only find a show about the last season it is on
