Accomplished #1 goal today - pissed off a Republican!
So today was shots day for my 6 month old and we load up and head to the doctor's office. We get our shots (mommy cries more than the baby does) and we're heading out to leave when we notice a giant SUV parked next to us with a bumper sticker on the back window. I love to look at bumper stickers since I have several on my car (I hope the idiot in the SUV noticed my one that says "Kerry Edwards - Sounds Better Now Doesn't It?")

Well I read it and something inside just snapped (perhaps it was the two hours of sleep I've had in the last day and a half). It said "Not Fonda Kerry." I know - it's even dumber than the Flush the Two Johns one that's still out there.

So hubby is loading the baby up and mommy grabs a piece of paper. Now, I live in an incredibly red area and these fools around here are the total gung-ho Love America or Leave It, You don't like the war - you must hate the troops kind of people, but I still felt compelled to leave them this love note:

Not Fonda Kerry? Somehow I don't think Kerry would have lied us into a war so his buddies could make ridiculous profits off of it. The next time you fill up this land cruiser, ask yourself how many soldiers died for this tank of gas.

So you're not fond of Kerry? Well America would be better off with Kerry instead of that idiotic chickenhawk and deep down YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE!! haha - too bad the soldiers aren't laughing.

I was a little pissed that hubby wouldn't wait around because I wanted to see that person's face.

Anyway, I've done my part to piss off the radical right today. :)

2. Excellent!
I'm sure this numbskull thinks everybody feels the same as he, so it will be priceless when he finds out otherwise!

3. He/she is probably speed-dialing Rush right this very moment...
...to tell Rush's listening audience how some "hate-mongerin',tree-huggin', liberul" put an un-patriotic note on his Hummer.

7. It's probably a 'she'...
...who is so afraid of terrorists attacking Kansas (or Alabama) that she feels safer in the bigger vehicle.

6. The last time I did something like that...
...I stuck around to see what the reaction was. My case was a bit different - in this case it was a Suburban with a Bush/Cheney sticker parked kitty-corner in the space next to me so I couldn't get my driver's door open. I had to crawl through the passenger door and over the hump and left a nasty note concerning the kind of person who would do something as inconsiderate as that would be the same kind of person who would vote for that ticket.

I then moved the car and watched to see the reaction.

The 4'11" blonde who was in the drivers seat before she saw the note got back out, read it...and proceeded to throw it on the ground.

Typical, eh? Inconsiderate, driving a gas-hog and cares less about the environment.

9. Boy I remember those trips to the doctor for baby shots
...traumatic aren't they?

But sounds like you got yourself a great release there, that's a great note! ;)
