This is odd , I have not seen this movie since I was a kid in the 50's with a black and white TV set .
I just happened to have the TV on today which I usually don;t and it came on .
I really can't watch it , it is not the thrill I recall , after all I'm 57 now .
All I remember is each year when I was so young we could not wait for it to come on .

Them flyin' monkeys sure are scary.
I saw it here in DC a few years back at the Uptown Theatre - with a huge screen. About a third the audience were kids. Just the right amount to scream or get scared. It was a great experience.
