IKEA in dog penis scandal
An IKEA catalogue with a photo that appears to show a dog with a larger-than-normal, human-like appendage has not been tampered with, according to the furniture giant's Canadian office.

The first photo in the 2007 catalogue -- a two-page, front-cover foldout -- shows a young family lounging on a bed with a dog.

The dog, which appears to be a greyhound or whippet, seems to have one distinctly human male characteristic, prompting some to suggest the image had been tampered with by a mischievous employee using a program such as Photoshop.

Ikea Canada says that's simply not the case.

<snip>

"We saw this particular photo when the prints came through here in Canada. ...But we can definitely say this is a picture of a dog's leg, and it is not something else."

1. That's one hell of a leg... but what bothers me more is
The foreplay going on by the threesome on the bed.

No wonder the dog has that look on his face. He's frustrated...

13. An observation -
What I see in the photo looks human and circumcised - I've seen a male dog erect and they don't look like that. Either someone has tampered with the photo - someone who doesn't know what they're doing, or else it is nothing but a leg. Stupid.

14. Sorta reminds me of the flap over the man on page 602 of the Sears
catalog back in the 70s. There was even a song written about it (hence the ability to remember the page number)

Apparently scandals were easier to generate back then.

15. That's the dog's knee. You can see the muscles in its thighs just to the left of
the discolored portion of its leg. It is a skinny dog.

playing on the bed.

It's supposed to be a pic of a family lounging on the bed. Mom, Dad, toddler, older child, and a dog.
