Happy 25th BD to my daughter: she got laid off today!

Happy F'ing Birthday! Her company is closing their office in the States and moving everything to Canada (they have a larger office there anyhow) The handwriting was on the wall for about 6 months. But she's mad because they are only giving her 2.5 wks severence for 3 yrs of service.

I've read a few other posts in the last week about other DUers getting laid off and even someone in my own family just lost his job last week. I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope she finds another job ASAP
