In our neighborhood there are people who decorate their houses and yards in celebration Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas (including one house that is decorated for Christmas all year round, it just intensifies in December), St Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo (not a big one yet, but growing) 4th of July, and sometimes for birthdays and new babies.
There’s nothing wrong with it, I just don’t understand the motivation. Is this going on everywhere?
