COLUMBIA, S.C. -- A man who said he was "accosted" by the star of "Borat" while using a restroom at an upscale South Carolina restaurant last year has filed a lawsuit.
It's the latest of several lawsuits filed since the release of the "Borat" movie.
The scene with the man, who's not identified in the lawsuit, isn't in the movie itself. But, a lawyer for the man says the scene's been shown on Comedy Central and various video-sharing Web sites.
In the film, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen poses as a misinformed Kazakhstanian television reporter filming a "documentary" about his cultural findings in the United States.
The lawyer said Baron Cohen, in the guise as Borat, poses as a bathroom attendant who stares at the man as he uses the urinal -- who then is "embarrassed and humiliated and leaves the restaurant."Among the other lawsuits was one by a pair of South Carolina college fraternity brothers who appeared in the film, who sued to stop the DVD release of "Borat." The men claimed they were tricked into making racist and sexist remarks for the film.
A judge, however, denied the request Friday.
