He was really, really polite to me when he called, but he flat out lied and called my kid a liar. So, of course, I'm trying to choke down a healthy dose of crow until I get the email from the teacher involved and she says that TeenMidlo said no such thing. And...to top it off, she forwards me the email she sent him where she states *exactly* what the kid told her.
