Ours is tomorrow and I'm bringing in home brew. Pumpkin ale and Porter.

it's a 6-pack kit of various styles. I think I'll try the lager first.

fermentation temps need to be lower and they take longer

My brother bought me a Mr. Beer kit for Xmas one year, and that's what I'm using. I know that this isn't as intense as brewing from scratch, but it's still fun.

2. My company is having a luncheon for us at Dave & Buster's

next Wednesday.

The menu is:

Italian Roasted Rosemary Chicken

House Salad

Linguini Alfredo and Cavatappi Posta with Marinara

Red Skin Mashed Potatoes

Garden Vegetable Medley

Fresh Baked Rolls with Butter

Gourmet Dessert Bar Assortment

Coffee, Tea or Soda

I'm a vegetarian, so I won't be eating the chicken. But there is plenty more for me to feast on, especially the dessert bar.

13. We've got two holiday luncheons coming up at work next week

One one Monday...your choice of either turkey and trimmings or veggie lasagna. Paper's doing that one but I think (I hope) that's my day off, so....

Other one is Wednesday...newsroom pot luck. Some stuff (I think meats) are being provided, but we're s'posed to bring something. I might bring tamales.

On the 22nd I'm bringing a big plate of cookies, candies and tamales.
