I HATE cascading overdraft charges |
|
OK, I made a BIG mistake and forgot to write down an electronic payment, causing a check to bounce. And a fee to be applied. So the next check bounced because of that fee. And another fee applied. Repeat for a total of 5 and now I'm down $125 in fees and calling all over town apologizing. I really hate the cascading effect. argh.

2. Call the bank, you might be able to talk them into removing the overdraft fees. It happens to |

everyone from time to time, but if you have a pretty decent record with them, they might cut you a break. I know that I've been able to get it before.

we have several and have money in them, just f*ed up on this one. I'm headed into town later to deposit more checks, will ask and see what they say.

It's *still* bouncing around.
Financial Analysts are still studying the ripple in the economy.
Similar story to yours... Wrote a electronic payment; forgot to void the paper check; bought lunch $6.34; six years later it's still out there... somewhere... :scared:
