14. beg....

OK-- the answer is no-- you only ever push with one leg at a time anyway, and the speed you can achieve is a function of the muscle force you can exert, one leg at a time, and your mass. On the other hand, three legs would make you much more stable, whether running or standing still, because you would not have to balance to stay upright.

Told you it was nerdy.

The essence of grace and balance. Now I fall over toys and dogs on a daily basis. My bruises have bruises. I think an extra leg would just make things much worse for me.

47. Did ballet for 35 years
I know your pain :pals:

Still have my pointe shoes, but would not even think of standing en pointe again. Toe joints are so messed up. However, I do get to keep the memory of doing 64 fouettées en pointe, never missing a beat and staying on spot the whole time....ahhh....those were the days when brain and body worked together....

For you...a ballet dictionary that will no doubt evoke many memories:

you get hit by a truck, so...

FOND DU LAC — Rick Lisko hunts deer with a bow but got his most unusual one driving his truck down his mile-long driveway.

The young buck had nub antlers — and seven legs. Lisko said it also had both male and female reproductive organs.
