Ok, this is a really dumb question but I have to asks.
Set up first.

I caught this conversation from a co-worker who use to drive the vehicles that ran inmates to and from prison. She told the guy she was having the conversation with that a fella that had been driving another bus got freak out by one of the inmates, a woman, who he needed help getting off of the bus. She thought she would got in calm her down and get her to leave.

She says quoting her "And believe me this really happened. Her head completely turn around." She said that she got off the bus and left her alone.

Now I do not for minute believe what she said, but the guy she was telling this to, who is a retired prison guard, did.

Tell me that this isn't possible, unless your dead.

2. Did she mean 360 degrees, or 180?
Edited on Thu Dec-14-06 09:14 PM by Kutjara
360 is impossible. Even if someone had the muscular strength to do it, their skull would pop right off the top of their spine, with predictably fatal consequences.

180 degrees? I don't know. Maybe someone could be 'double jointed' enough to face backwards, but I'm skeptical. I still think the spine, tendons, blood vessels and other neck paraphenalia would say 'no.'

8. Not stupid. You nailed it. You figured it out.
The heads on dead people completely turn around with little or no effort. You can spin them like a top.

Good job. ;)
