10 Days Til Xmas. Where Are You In Your Holiday Shopping?

2. I'm done, mainly because

I donate to Hereford International and this year the local is Oxford Ferret Rescue instead of gifts. The DH works Xmas so I will probably go work for the local charity that serves xmas dinner to the homeless. Christmas has had so much more meaning and been so much less stressful since I told everyone that is what we were doing and ask them to do the same in place of gifts for us.

maybe a few more stocking stuffers(candy)...other than that, I think I'm done...:D

4. Half done.

I've had a bad year. The one time I went out shopping I just wanted to kick some ass every time someone banged into me. I swear to God people get ruder every year. Don't get me started.

6. Thats how it was for me this morning...

I figured I would go shopping early, and beat the rush...but nope, every place I went to was packed...I should've waited until late at night, to go...I like being able to look at things, without having people bump into me, and I don't like being in other people's way either...

Why, when you're just standing looking at something and someone feels the need to reach over you or bump you with the fu##ing stroller, are you in the way? I swear to God someone is going to get punched one of these days. I've never hit another human in my life in anger, but it's coming.

5. I'm done, because my wife is done.

Yes, I'm an ogre. She does all the Christmas shopping. Which is great, because she loves it--she LIVES for it--and I HATE it.

When it gets bad is when she gets carried away and gets her OWN presents. Then I have to calmly remind her that I get to pick out and purchase some presents for my wife by myself. I did so last week, so we're all done.

7. Almost done, but I'm in panic mode.

My mother in law, my husband step-mom, is asking for something very specific that I simply cannot find. She wants a fine-guage sweater, solid color, with 3/4 sleeves. I haven't been able to find one anywhere!

9. Haven't started. However...

I'll wait until Christmas Eve and get all of the gift shopping for everyone done in 45 minutes. It's a guy thing! :woohoo:
