My daughter may have cancer
She is having an ultrasound Tuesday. My mother died of uterine cancer about 35 years ago.

3. aw crap. I'm hoping the best for her.
My daughter for some reason has always tested positive for cancer on every pap smear since she was 19. She's stopped doing the follow-ups because they're always negative. She stopped having pap smears about 4 years ago which is stupid but she has no health insurance. She's 27 now.

14. WHAT???
She can get one at Planned Parenthood for a lower rate based on a sliding scale. She needs to DO IT. I've watched many young women DIE from
cervical cancer. It's a horrible disease. Please encourage her to go back and get a pap. Even without insurance they aren't that expensive.

9. stay positive
my mom always says if you claim it, you own it. So claim a positive outcome, and that means don't worry about what you'll do bad news comes. Claim that the bad news will be kept at bay.

My prayers are with you all.

11. I had one of 'those' ultrasounds a few years ago. Turned out not to be anything.
It's a good thing she's having her check-ups and following through. Will be thinking of you both.
Take care.
