Latkes

How do you like yours? creamy or hashbrownish? Sour cream, applesauce, or jelly?
I was going to wait until Sunday to make some with the in-laws but I want some NOW!!

8. Seat of the pants recipe
peel white potatoes and shred in food processor.
Take shredder blade out and replace with chopping blade.
For each batch of potatoes that fits in the processor add 1/4 onion roughly chopped.
Pulse processor to combine onion and potato and the mixture develops a slight creamy texture(This is a bone of contention in our house. My wife likes it creamier, I like them more hashbrownish).
Add 1 egg, dash of salt, 1 tp baking powder.
Add flour but don't let mixture get dry.

Drop heaping spoonfuls in hot oil and pat flat, you can't use too much oil.
Fry to golden brown.
