I am the GREATEST Uncle in the world and the WORST brother all at once!
Edited on Fri Dec-15-06 01:46 PM by matcom

since I don't have kids of my own (and won't), I like to spoil my niece and nephew (daughter and son to my repuke, evangelical sister).

sooooo, talking to my sis on Thanksgiving (first conversation in months) she lets slip that my niece wants an electric guitar for xmas. told sis I thought that was a great idea and sis says NO WAY! too noisy a present (she said something about sanity but I think I was drunk at the time) ;)

soooooooooooo

Uncle Matcom JUST ordered and sent down a kid-sized ELECTRIC GUITAR WITH AMPLIFIER for my lovely little neice.

ssssiiiiiilllleeeennnttttt nnnnniiiiigggghhhhttttt .... hhhooooooolllllyyyyyy nnnniiiiigggghhhhhttttt....

I'm in the same situation: no kids, but spoil to pieces my niece and nephew.

Sometimes my brother is: :eyes: about the spoiling I lay on the kids

16. An ex-boyfriend once gave my kid a collection
...of toys. Legos, Jacks, liquid bubbles and musical instruments. All the things a mother loves to step on, step in or be driven mad by the sound. He knew what he was doing. He was a fellow parent and had that evil glint in his eye.
