I'm having trouble with my displaywrite 2 floppies. Should I upgrade?

5. MultiMate rules.

It was the first WP software I ever used, back in 1986, only filled about 25% of a 64KB floppy (the rest of the disk was free for storing documents; no harddrive, dontcha know), and could embolden, italicize and justify my text in any of about half a dozen fonts.

Now, I use MS Word 2004. It, together with the rest of Office, takes up about 250MB of my hard disk, and I still only use the bold, italics and justification features and fewer than half a dozen fonts.

Ahh, progress.

3. You want to know something funny?

I had an old Apple IIe that was broke, but the monitor was still good, so, because I don't like wasting things, I tried hooking it up to my DVD player. It actually worked! It had a standard Composite jack in the back, and I put in the Matrix DVD, and was able to watch it though this teeny tiny monitor, no problem. The thing was that it was all shades of green, no other color, but it just fit the movie SO well. It was also a LOT sharper than a standard TV.
