Is there a gas shortage? Have we returned to the 1970's??? |
|
Just went down to the grocery store. The store also has a gas station. There were cars all over the place, waiting got get gas. Haven't seen lines like that at the gas pumps since the 1970's. It was absolutely insane. I know we just had a horrible storm, but did people sleep in their cars last night with the motors running?

since not all stations have elec. to operate.
My friend told me she had to go to three stations before she found one where she could fill up.

This station was without power last night, but it was back on about 7:00 this morning.
Edited to add: Didn't see that particular tidbit, and it never occurred to me, as I don't have my car right now. I work from home, so driving around is not something I do alot.

and I ride the 'T', so I don't get to visit the gas stations often.
I'm more worried about the heating bills coming up. :scared:
