If there's an internal filter, it really is a good thing to replace it as directed. Sniffin' the mold it generates is gross. :puke:

1. Put a de-humidifier in the same room with it and let them fight it out.

4. Oh, you know me, the usual...
Cleaning, studying, going out to people-watch, that sort of thing... :D (but before you ask like a couple coworkers do, my wife and kids are doing just fine. :) )

Glad you're happy with your life! :)

5. No, it's been a tough few weeks for me

And I really don't like winter very much. I have seasonal affected disorder, so I have to keep myself peppy, especially when I don't want to. I wake up, it's dark. I go home in the dark. It's depressing to me.

However, having company of friends will do wonders for me. I like having them more than family.

6. Thanks for the context.
I hear ya about the darkness, it does get depressing...

I'll be calling my parents tomorrow. Then going out to see where I can find friends (e.g. book clubs, sci-fi clubs, photography clubs, et al)

8. Why thank you!
  :pals: :toast:

Though I'd say 9 times out of 10... Would you believe 8 times out of 10? Man, I've got to stop watching "Get Smart" for a while... :)

My posts are also ubiquitous. For as the old song goes:

"I'm a little post whore, short and stout. Hypno's me handle, d'ye wanna see my spout?"
