Gift wrappers....what is the weapon of choice?

I've seen commericals about some kind of new "knife" that slices wrapping paper?

How do you wrap and what do you use?

1. i'm old fashioned, i use paper, scissors and scotch tape

but it's my favorite part of christmas :bounce:

those ribbons, with the remove seal sticky tabs...

3. a box cutter, paper, and tape...

i have a whole drawer full razor knives from when i worked at a grocery store.

Amazing what they come in handy for.

6. Scissors, paper and tape.

And real ribbons, or else yarn or that curling ribbon. I love making the packages pretty.

7. I go old school, too.

It's not about cutting the paper necessarily. As long as you can make a clean folded edge, you can tear the paper off the roll. I don't recommend it; I'm just saying.

I use scissors, clear tape, bows, ribbons, holly, and candy canes. One year I used sparkly snowberries I found at Hobby Lobby. I have also gotten white butcher paper and drawn holiday scenes on the paper after the gift was wrapped.

8. scissors, scotch tape, paper and big ribbon...

this year I have three wrap colors: gold, green and red. I went to Michael's and bought a lot of wide ribbon in gold, silver, striped (gold, green, red), and red velvet. I found some pretty tags at Target. I almost forgot...at Michaels I also got a lot of the small plastic berry things to tie in the middle of my bows. I had more fun than usual this year with my wrapping. :)

9. Fortunately

I'm way past childhood.
My mom refused to buy proper wrapping paper because she grew up in the Depression.
She also refused to buy tags, saying "They're too small to see anyway".

She bought pink, yellow and red shelf paper for wrapping paper.

We weren't THAT poor. Arrrghhhhh.

I love wrapping stuff and I love ripping presents open too.

10. Carton cutters cut wrap easily and straight

Just unroll it, rest one side of your hand against the roll, and gently drag your hand along the roll while the blade cuts the wrap. Makes a pretty good straight line, if you don't let your hand wobble. :)
