3. I love Stevie Ray as much as the next guy but Jimi. I shouldn't need to say more
Jimi showed Clapton, Townsend and Beck what the electric guitar could do. He did it first and did things with a guitar that still haven't been duplicated.

RIP to both of them. Maybe they're riffin' together right now somewhere.

But I had to go with Stevie.

Personally, I just think Stevie had a little more versatility, and his tone was a little sweeter to my ears.

The tracks "Lenny" and "Riviera Paradise" are what I am basing this on....

7. OK, I voted Jimi but it's really like apples and oranges....
I mean, they're both reasonably decent guitar players, right? Neither really sucks or anything.

Stevie Ray Vaughan was a terrific guitar player and a cool human being.

Jimi Hendrix was the finest guitar player of all time. There is no comparison.
